Audition Requirements

Members of Equity and ACTRA please note that as FRC produces shows on a volunteer, recreational basis, we will not pay any professional association fees, such as the fees stipulated by Equity's Amateur Guest Artist policy, under any circumstances whatsoever.

Please prepare a one (1) to two (2) minute dramatic monologue.

Please also prepare one (1) song in the Pre-Contemporary Broadway genre. Please upload backing tracks on the audition page, as no accompanist will be available. No acapella auditions allowed.

There will be a dance call held at the end of every hour of auditions - please come prepared with water, proper clothing and footwear to show your dance ability.

FRC believes that inclusivity and diversity are integral to the stories we tell both on and off our stage. We want an environment where everyone, from any background, can do their best work. We encourage performers of all skills and abilities (physical and/or mental), ages, gender identity, race, sexual orientation, and ethnicity to apply.

About the Show

One Singular Sensation

A Chorus Line is a stunning concept musical capturing the spirit and tension of a Broadway chorus audition. Exploring the inner lives and bittersweet ambitions of professional Broadway performers, the show features one powerhouse number after another. Memorable musical numbers include "What I Did for Love, "One," "I Can Do That," "At the Ballet," "The Music and the Mirror," and "I Hope I Get It." A brilliantly complex fusion of song, dance, and compellingly authentic drama, A Chorus Line was instantly recognized as a classic.

Won't forget, can't regret what I did for LOVE
